Summary of your role:
As a Pool server and Employee Partner your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

This position reports directly to the F&B Director, F&B Supervisor, Exec Chef, with indirect reporting to the Private Events Director, and General Manager.
Day to Day:
Maintain Invited service standards as outlined in the F&B Service training program(s) at high standards
Responsible for food and beverage service to members and guests, adhering to the Invited standards of service.
Complete and comprehensive knowledge of the a la carte menu is mandatory, including daily features and specials that may not be available directly on the menu.
Accurately execute Member/Guest orders and requests in an attentive and timely fashion.
Know Member names and greet them promptly while providing a warm welcome making them feel at home.
Ensure daily assignments and side work is complete in respective areas to meet Club standards (i.e., orderly/organized work areas, consistently sanitize work areas, refill/stock containers and supplies, etc.).
Assist fellow Employees, Members, and guests to ensure delivery of the Three Steps of Service without being directed. Be aware of team members and the environment and take part as a member of the team.
Notify management of Member/Guest complaints at the time they occur. Practice good service recovery by rectifying any complaints as soon as possible.
Complete additional duties as assigned by the F&B Director, Pool Manager, Service Supervisor, Private Events Director, etc.
Possess clear knowledge of all various liquors, beer and wines available at the Club.
Must be able to interact with Members/Guests professionally, helping them with changes and last-minute requests as needed.

About you:
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
Previous Food and Beverage experience, preferred.
Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certifications as required by the State and City.
You have completed F&B Service Training.
Excellent communication skills and articulate speech.
Ability to communicate and follow instructions.
You are comfortable working in both indoor and occasional outdoor environments.
Physical Requirements:

Qualifications:

We are seeking a full-time/part-time House Person/Banquet Setup to join our team! The House Person/Banquet Setup ensures all club facilities are cleaned to Oakmont standards and assists with all event setups while maintaining a clean and safe work environment for all Club employees, members, guests, and vendors. Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties
Set up room layouts according to the event.
Reset rooms after events have concluded.
Assist with buffet set up.
Assists with the setup of all Clubhouse party functions.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the clubhouse.
Performs routine building maintenance in such a manner as to minimize interruption of Club members/guests.
Dusts room and furniture.
Reads and understands party sheets.
Sets up and prepares dining areas and banquet areas for service.
Cleans bathrooms as trained.
Vacuums carpets and mops floors in all clubhouse areas.
Sweeps patio areas and dusts patio furniture and other outside areas as instructed.
Cleans all pictures, mirrors, and fans.
Empties and cleans all trash receptacles and ashtrays, inside and outside.
Disinfects telephones.
Buffs floors.
Cleans and polishes brass.
Washes all windows, glass doors and glass panels throughout the Club.
Shampoos carpets.
Reports any damage, burned out light bulbs and plumbing problems to the maintenance or housekeeping department.
Sets up and breaks down parties following supervisor's instruction.
Uses proper personal protective equipment when using products that require protection.
Runs errands as directed by the Clubhouse Facilities Manager and/or General Manager.
Consistently monitors the Club campus for the purpose of maintaining the security of all club areas. Reports any unusual persons or behavior immediately to a member of the leadership team.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
This position requires:
Frequently lifting/moving up to fifty pounds
Frequently walking, climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, talking or hearing
Occasionally required to sit.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required Qualifications:
Server, bar, and/or hospitality experience encouraged but NOT required.

Ability to obtain proper licensing and certifications for the location.
