Position Description Summary: Responsible for the timely delivery of food and beverages to members by presenting menus, answering questions and making suggestions regarding food and service, writing orders, effectively and quickly entering orders into the Point of Sale System. Ensure that chits are presented correctly and in a timely manner to members and guests. Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: v Accountable for assigned opening and closing job duties as well as completion of daily tasks assigned including the set-up and breakdown of all rooms necessary for service i.e. cleaning, organizing, and detailing of dining rooms and stations. v Requires individual to be extremely courteous, cordial and polite to the members, guest, and co-workers. v Promptly greets guests as they are seated and bring bread, butter and water to table. v Removed used tableware between courses and bus to the kitchen. v Clear tables after guests finished. Take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing. v Promptly clean table tops and chairs between seating. Check floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletops. v Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest request to MOD or BOD as needed. v Must provide uniform separates as needed, including non-slip, closed toe, black shoes, black socks, black pants, and belt. Other uniform separates may be required and will be the responsibility of the employee.
