Atwater's Belvedere Square is a high-volume quick service operation. We serve hearty soups, breakfast, sandwiches, salads, specialty coffee, pastries. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing an excellent service experience for every customer by making hand-crafted espresso drinks and preparing tea and other beverages according to company recipes. Will also be required to ensure a positive company image by providing,
“service that makes your day”
to customers and staff members.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Greet every customer who approaches our market stall.
Ensure our dining area is clean and visual pleasing at all times.
Educate customers to get familiar and know our seasonal menu and products.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of company values and menu.
Take orders accurately at the register, and assist customers through every part of the sales process.
Prepare espresso drinks to order, pour drip coffees, teas, and lemonades.
Restock espresso bar throughout the day according to appropriate stocking procedures.
Ensure every order meets Atwater's quality standards for food and beverages.
Answer telephone calls and transfer to the appropriate department when required with excellent phone etiquette.
Follow and comply with health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
Perform other duties assigned by supervisors/managers.
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills.
Able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
Able to educate and sell proactively to customers.
Able to follow instructions and procedures.
Able to work independently.
Basic food and coffee knowledge.
Stand and walk for an extended period of time.
Barista experience is a plus.
