    SUMMARY To assist the site administrator in the organization and administration of the school. To assist district administration in key leadership projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assumes appropriate designated duties in collaboration with and in the absence of the site administrator(s). Assists the site administrator(s)in the organization, management, and administration of the school in the following areas: a. Implementation of the school and District's instructional program(s). b. Must have knowledge of laws, Board policies, rules, and regulations that pertain to student discipline, attendance, and transfers. Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, principles, and practices. Requires knowledge of appropriate grade level curricula, resources, and instructional practices. Requires knowledge of appropriate classroom management strategies. Must demonstrate knowledge of State testing requirements and procedures. Requires knowledge of guidance and counseling objectives, principles, and procedures. Abilities: Requires the ability to implement the school instructional program. Must be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, students, parents, and the public contacted in the performance of duties. Requires the ability to identify and determine the basic nature of students' problems and needs, evaluate their relative urgency, and take action to alleviate the problems.
