Key Responsibilities
Perform numeric evaluation of product design, integration, and qualification activities for new inertial navigation products for internal R&D and customer funded programs
Evaluate sensor & system performance - ex: reading and understanding Root Alan Variance (RAV)
Lead trade studies and issue resolution (e.g. FMEA, RCCA) activities
Prepare, review, approve, and present technical documentation and deliverables to internal and external customers
Function as a technical focal with internal customers supporting new product development and communicating technical status

The Staff Atlassian System Engineer Opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled "Staff Atlassian System Engineer" to join BT Atlassian platform engineering team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud and data center Atlassian suites. Additionally, this role will handle UI configurations, automation, and integrations to optimize business processes and user experience.
What you'll be doing
* Maintain, optimize, and scale Atlassian applications
* Apply patching and version upgrades to Atlassian data center instances and hosted infrastructures while minimizing downtime
* Drive solution design, architecture, and implementation across Atlassian platform to meet business needs
* Configure user provisioning, workflows, automation rules, custom fields, schemes, permissions, add-ons, dashboards, reports, and integrations
* Configure Confluence spaces, templates, and macros to improve collaboration
* Adhere to tools best practices and standard methodologies to maintain consistency across all instances
* Work with stakeholders to improve user experience and UI configurations for Atlassian suite
* Develop custom scripts to automate administration tasks and enhance productivity
* Provide support to end-users by troubleshooting issues and assisting with Atlassian tool-related inquiries.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation for Atlassian configurations, features, and processes.
* Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
* Provide trainings to users and teams to increase user adoption and promote new features
What you'll bring to the role
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of admin experience in managing Atlassian Data Center (Jira and Confluence) applications
* 3+ years of admin experience in managing Atlassian Cloud applications
* 2+ years of experience in maintaining, version upgrading, and patching Atlassian applications in Linux environment hosted on AWS
* Proficiency in Python scripting
* Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security best practices
* 2+ years of hands-on experience with Atlassian REST APIs and Oauth Application links
And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!
* Experience implementing security best practices for Atlassian products (e.g. IP allowlist, user roles/permissions)
* Experience with Okta technologies
* AWS certifications and Atlassian certifications
* Hands-on administration experience in Jira Service Management
* Administration experience with Jira plans and Custom Charts add-on

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$132,000-$198,000 USD
