You Will:
Provide knowledge in systems engineering and information technology

Provide technical expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and DevSecOps software
Provide technical knowledge to design systems that host both virtual machine and container workloads in a heterogeneous environment
Develop new processes to support automated testing pipeline (local and AWS)
Develop DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline for large enterprise networks
Develop and/or revise system designs and architectures to improve efficiency, stability, effectiveness, supportability, and sustainability
Provide feedback on internal processes and recommendations for improvement
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related taskings as directed
Provide technical knowledge to design systems that monitor and manage DoD systems
Prepare technical briefs to present to engineering review teams
Provide documentation, training, and support on new tools and processes for stakeholders, ensuring compliance
Investigate and resolve issues that span multiple applications/technologies and require involvement from technical personnel across multiple groups
Provide technical knowledge to support and maintain Microsoft and other vendor IT enterprise products
Install test branches on physical hardware on lab equipment as first level integration tests
Verify install documentation is executable
You Have:
U.S. Citizenship
A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or be able to obtain an interim security clearance prior to hire date
5+ years' experience in a systems engineer role overseeing complex IT infrastructure
Demonstrated ability to effectively install, configure and administer in a multi-system and/or multi-application environment using ansible / ansible automation platform (AAP).
Experience with Ansible is critical as it is used to automate installation, configuration, hardening, and maintenance tasks
Experience with Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef, and other DevOps tools
Advanced Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes infrastructure
Experience with AWS EC2 and S3 building virtual instances and utilizing cloud storage
Experience with Microsoft PowerShell or other scripting languages
Ability to automate the installation and configuration of applications
Working knowledge and experience with Agile framework and Scrum
Knowledge of Linux/Windows OS and networking from a system design perspective
Ability to create and test virtualized environments (VMWare, OpenShift, Hyper-V, AWS) for development and testing procedures that are traceable to system requirements

Seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Distributed Common Ground System, Navy (DCGS-N) Family of Systems (FoS) which includes DCGS-N INC 1 Block 1, DCGS-N INC 1 Block 2, DCGS-N INC2, the DCGS-N Enterprise Node (DEN), the Joint Concentrator Architecture (JCA) and the Intelligence Carry On Program (ICOP) and systems in development. DCGS-N is the Navy's premier Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) processing system.
The successful applicant will be a major contributor to intelligence software integration and testing in PMW-120's System Engineering Division.
The position will involve extensive application configuration and candidates should possess an administrator-level understanding of n-tier Enterprise applications (db, app server, and client) architecture/management as well as the capacity to follow detailed installation procedures.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Will maintain the installed system i.e. patching, reinstallation etc.
Will act as the support engineer for the site, creating and maintaining user accounts the DoD and local security guidelines.
