Job Description
What you will do
As a Motorsport Controls Software Engineer within the Bosch Motorsport team, you will be responsible for the following:
Software development for motorsport projects with a focus on controls software using MATLAB/Simulink
Software-in-the-loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing
Delivering high quality software in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
Adhering to and improving applicable software development processes
Developing software tools for workflow improvement
Identifying and resolving both component and system issues
Providing on-site application support for Motorsport products at customer, track, and other development sites
Interfacing directly with customers to collect and clarify software requirements
Creating and following project timelines
Working as part of global software development team
Domestic and international travel up to 20% per year (20-30 days/year), including 1-3 weeks in Germany

1+ years of industry relevant software or calibration experience

Qualification:
BE/B. Tech or ME/MTech in Mechanical/Production/ Automotive Engineering
6 to 12 years preferably in automotive application
Should have minimum 9600 hours work experience in any CAE Pre-and Post-processor, Preferably Hyper mesh/ ANSA/ Abaqus / NCode / FemFAT or any other reverent CAE tools.
Experience in analysis and post processing of full BIW level Durability Evaluation and fatigue analysis and sub system level static load analysis.
Past experience in providing BIW / closures related counter measures and design suggestions. Knowledge of optimization techniques and processes.
Experience in CAE to test co-relation, vehicle target settings and refinements as per latest automotive trends.
Theoretical knowledge of finite element analysis. Good communication, report writing, technical documentation and presentation skills.
Knowledge of different regulatory and non-regulatory requirements.
Preference for cross domain basic knowledge of NVH and Durability.

Looking for an energetic, organized, experienced Senior Vehicle CAE Durability Engineer to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for performing durability, strength and stiffness simulations to develop and optimize EV body, chassis, closures structure.
The Senior Vehicle CAE Durability Engineer will be working with CAE tools to lead and guide the design. The Senior Durability CAE Engineer will be responsible for assessing performance in durability, strength and stiffness of a vehicle structure using nCode DesignLife and Optistruct. This candidate is using pre-processing tools like ANSA/HYPERMESH to create and debug the full vehicle durability model. This senior engineer will use nCode /HYPERWORKS to post-process the durability and stiffness simulation results. He/she will suggest recommendations for improving the design. This senior engineer can understand the problem by digging into and analyzing the results and is able to find the optimized solution by performing several full vehicle durability simulation iterations. The Senior CAE Durability Engineer involves in component and vehicle testing too and he/she will correlate the CAE results with the test data. The Senior Durability Engineer is responsible for applying advanced methods like DOE/DFSS to optimize the design. This senior engineer will create reports to present the results of the simulations and the improvements achieved.
