Position Summary The Project Manager II will oversee projects throughout the entire engineering service lifecycle, from planning and scheduling to inventory control, fabrication, assembly, testing, and field execution. Implement checklists and operational standards for procurement, inventory, fabrication, testing, and shipping. Ensure project scope, execution, and changes align with revenue goals and client agreements. 🔹 Sales & Business Awareness Understand how project execution impacts revenue, customer satisfaction, and repeat business. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality. Support business development by nurturing client relationships and collaborating with sales teams on project scopes. 🔹 Team Leadership & Coordination Work independently while effectively coordinating with internal teams. Identify team skillsets, allocate resources, and schedule personnel for efficient execution. Lead with a positive, proactive attitude that motivates team members. Communicate effectively with executives, engineers, field teams, and clients. 🔹 Operational & Inventory Management Oversee inventory control, managing materials, consumables, and project staging. Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly prepared for field execution. Maintain an organized inventory system to optimize project workflows. 🔹 Quality Control & Assurance Implement and enforce quality control standards from engineering release to completion. Inspect and verify equipment, materials, and processes to meet industry and company standards. 🔹 Client & Vendor Relations Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Act as the primary problem solver, ensuring swift resolution of issues. Serve as a commercial-minded liaison between engineering, project execution, and client expectations. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Construction Management, Engineering, Business) preferred. 3-5 years of project management experience in switchgear, electrical components, or industrial equipment. Strong technical knowledge of low- and medium-voltage switchgear (electrical & mechanical), particularly in mission-critical power applications. Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and switchgear testing. Familiarity with sales processes, pricing strategies, and cost control is highly desirable.
