We work in a fast-paced environment and we're looking for a candidate with a passion for execution to join our team at the most innovative and disruptive company in the fintech space WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING * Providing targeted facilitation and guidance to our team with a goal towards growing their reach and impact • Collaborating with our newly-forming Centers of Excellence team to align strategies and goals for creation and governance of floor-wide standards • Championing alignment with our Training teams to ensure the needs of the floor are in line with training strategy and roadmaps• Defining the vision and overseeing the production of internal communication assets, including a twice-weekly newsletter, biweekly educational videos, and a monthly podcast• Spearheading efforts to expand UWM's technology brand externally, by driving our execution of technology conference sponsorships, strategic social media messaging, and university partnerships • Engaging with SMEs and leaders to understand and deliver communication needs for our large-scale floor-wide initiatives • Leading various efforts to develop and strengthen technology talent pipelines, including our summer internship program, an AI bootcamp for local high schoolers, and more• Communicating accomplishments, roadblocks, and proposals to senior IT leadership, and collaborating with 150+ IT leaders at all levels WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Required: * Experience supporting, motivating, and guiding team members that range from recent college graduates to experts with decades of technology experience. * Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex processes or goals in a clear, concise way to technical and non-technical team members and leaders (writing samples will be required from candidates) * A hands-on, solution-driven approach to leadership, with a knack for problem solving that stems from curiosity, creativity and resourcefulness * A passion for mentoring and guiding team members and learners, and investment in their growth * Strong time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to simultaneously drive multiple projects, in different stages, forward * Exceptional people skills, with strong initiative to connect with leaders and team members and build relationships quickly * Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution * A strong desire to be part of a fast-moving team where you can make an impact * This position requires on-site attendance in Pontiac, Michigan Preferred: * Minimum 1 year leadership experience * Bachelors degree in computer science, communications, English, or related field - or equivalent experience * Experience in the mortgage industry THE PLACE & THE PERKS Ready to join thousands of talented team members who are making the dream of home ownership possible for more Americans?
