This person needs to have a background in designing heavy machinery, mechanical design/engineering, working in hydraulics, Pneumatics, doing hands on calculations. This person should be a strong communicator, can work independently and efficiently who is a problem solver. This person will be involved in proposals, animations for the customer, mechanical design, supporting assembly, working directly with the customer and supporting a nuclear quality control program. Mission: There are 177 underground storage tanks at the DOE Handford Site. This person and team are building and designing the equipment that cleans every nuclear waste tank at the facility.
