Review project submittals and RFIs to ensure project aligns with client corporate specifications and standards as well as industry best practice. Update site drawings, system P&IDs, and other documents as needed to ensure accurate as-built conditions are recorded. Coordinate project activities with all internal and external parties to ensure project activities do not negatively impact site operations. Deliver periodic project status reports to all internal project stakeholders (internal customers, engineering, and plant management, etc.). Interact with city inspectors and outside contractors as needed within the scope of assigned projects. Provide daily oversight of all on-site contractors for assigned projects.This includes (but is not limited to) scheduling of contractor activities, oversight of contractor safety while on site, and acting as liaison between contractors and site personnel as required. Support startup of new equipment, including the execution of commissioning activities, field troubleshooting of newly installed equipment, and field support to site validation staff Qualifications Construction management for utility, process, equipment, and facility project experience is greatly desired. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, possesses excellent planning and organizational skills Strong teamwork and the ability to maintain constructive relationships with personnel from various disciplines at all levels in the organization is required. PMP certification is a significant advantage. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30-hour qualification is a significant advantage. Previous biotech / biopharmaceutical experience is a significant advantage. Exposure to commercial construction activities with some degree of understanding of all trades to support construction efforts. General knowledge of pertinent building, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and fire protection codes. Qualifications/training in construction management is a plus. Candidates must be able to lift 25 lbs and negotiate active construction sites. Excellent oral/written communication skills Why PM Group?
