Role Responsibilities
Support Nova and End Users as defined under Nova's warranty and service support agreements.
Maintain accurate reporting of all customer support activities as outlined by the Service Manager.
Assist with new equipment installations, add-ons, and upgrades, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
Provide feedback to the division in Germany based on customer experiences and suggestions for improvement.
Produce regular reports for customers and Nova management to ensure transparency and communication.
Provide customer training and retraining as needed, ensuring users have the necessary knowledge to operate equipment effectively.
Manage Nova's parts inventory at assigned locations, ensuring availability of critical components when required.
Assist with setting and maintaining spare parts inventory levels, adhering to company policies.
Repair parts and components according to general service policies and procedures.
Ensure spare systems are properly stored and available when needed for customer support.
Provide sales support, assisting the sales team with necessary technical information and documentation.
Collaborate with sales and customers for on-site evaluations and assessments of Nova products.
Familiarize with customer operating methods, procedures, and policies to provide tailored support.
Adhere to customer site policies regarding safety, performance, and behavior.
Maintain confidentiality of customer information to uphold trust and privacy.
Provide customer support during defined working hours as outlined in the service contract and be prepared to extend support beyond regular hours if needed.

The R&D Software Engineer II will work with Bastian Solutions' R&D team to produce industry leading Autonomous Vehicle and Robotic solutions for the Material Handling Industry. With a current team size of approximately 70 members, distributed between our Boise, Dallas, and Indianapolis offices, the Bastian R&D team is composed of a group of industry leading experts with cross-discipline skillsets and backgrounds. The R&D Software Engineer II will work alongside like-minded engineers in an Agile development environment and will have the opportunity to engage in every stage of the R&D process to bring new products to market. The Software Team's responsibilities cover all aspects of an autonomous robot's software stack, from the lowest-level motion control to the highest-level APIs and user interfaces.
