CONTROLS ENGINEER - Fire your current boss!
Senior Electrical Engineer Job In Sussex, WI
How would you describe your current boss or workplace:
Professional
Supportive
Promotes growth
Are you in a good mood when you get home to your family? Sadly, those traits are not very common. Think about this, you spend more time at work than any other place. Why are you not at a place you actually like being at?
Here at the Industrial Controls Company, we only hire awesome people who are supportive, helpful and team players. We put more emphasis on you as a person than your resume! We're seeking a local (this is not a remote position) experienced controls engineer who knows how to design/build a control panel, program PLC's and interface units, is familiar with UL508a, and do occasional onsite startups. Basically, we need a confident, experienced, hands-on controls engineer who's a great person. (And we do embrace quirkiness!)
We believe the best thing we can do is to hire the right people and create a culture for our team to be wildly successful. We know great people leave if we don't address the issues with poor performers or disruptive people and we address them quickly. No games, no politics and no BS! Because of that, we have an amazing group who are self-directed and work with their teammates to make decisions on the fly to achieve the best outcomes for our customers. Richard Branson, the English billionaire, once said, “If you take care of your employees, they will take care of your clients.” We truly live that here at ICC. You'll be part of a team that will provide all the training you need along with supporting you to make sure you're successful. We all know your success makes the team successful and keeps our customers happy. It's a simple concept, but it can only be achieved by people who truly understand how to manage workloads and deadlines and who can work with the team to achieve the highest levels of success. We also realize success at work is only one piece of the puzzle. Having the opportunity to take on more responsibility and work your way up is another piece. We believe that if you're not growing, we're not growing. And finally, having the freedom to achieve the highest levels of work/life balance completes that puzzle. We grant a level of freedom not given anywhere else.
Imagine being surrounded by high achievers who are simply awesome people. Imagine what your day would be like when you look up and realize it's already time to go home and you start thinking about how much you've accomplished and how much fun you had. Do you have that now? You owe it to yourself and your family to at least submit your resume and see where it goes. It's free, you have nothing to lose and possibly a LOT to gain. Let's do this!
