Reporting to the VP, Data Management, the Sr. Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for hands-on involvement in the architecture, delivery, and governance of data reporting and data delivery. The role will encompass data warehousing and business intelligence responsibilities with a focus on data architecture, sourcing, reporting, and analytics. The position will optimize data models, reports, and dashboards with the expectation to integrate advanced analytics and machine learning, while also ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and security by providing technical support and end-user training. The BI Developer will drive innovation by suggesting and implementing new BI tools, optimizing queries, and documenting data processes. Additionally, the role will contribute to the full development life cycle, mentor junior team members, and design operational and analytical reporting. The position will be required to be current and updated on industry trends, analyze business requirements, and adhere to best practices and regulatory standards. What you will do for Fay: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to align business requirements with technical solutions, fostering effective communication Regularly review data models, reports, and dashboards, identifying optimization opportunities and ensuring standardization Be current and updated on industry trends, integrating advanced analytics and machine learning for actionable insights Actively engage in data governance to maintain accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance Provide technical support, troubleshoot reporting issues, and lead end-user training Drive innovation by evaluating and implementing new BI tools and technologies Perform and provide administration support for the BI tools deployed within the environment Design, develop, and maintain operational and analytical reporting Optimize data queries for improved system responsiveness Serve as a subject matter expert, offering guidance to internal stakeholders and contributing to strategic data-related discussions Analyze business requirements, perform ad-hoc queries, and contribute to story point assignments in DevOps Contribute to technical best practices and help develop prediction systems and machine learning algorithms Engage in the full development life cycle, documenting it in ADO, ensuring adherence to company process, procedures and guidelines Design and support effective system and user acceptance testing Collaborate on projects, providing mentorship to junior team members and ensuring effective engagement with other departments/ teams Conduct ongoing and ad-hoc data and process analysis Implement technical improvements and adhere to company policies and regulatory standards Develop productive relationships across the organization Develop domain knowledge of Fay's business to include an understanding of short-term goals and long-term strategies for the organization Ensure compliance with Fay's policies, processes, and practices.
