ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Identifies, reports and documents safety hazards and handles such hTegularities as assigned by Supervisor in a manner prescribed by hospital and department policy.

Summary
Assist in maintaining the safety, security, and orderly operations of Iowa Speedway while providing exceptional customer service. This position provides a visible security presence to guests, employees, and assists with questions regarding directions, information about the facility, and disabled assistance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain posts and screen guests for proper tickets and credentials throughout the facility on race weekends.
Control access to different areas on-site with proper credentials using verbal communication and physical presence.
Ensure safety is maintained by advising rules, policies of the facility, and enforcement of such when necessary.
Provide outstanding customer service by providing information, giving directions, and answering questions.
Assist competitors, owners, race officials, and customers by managing parking areas.

Roam the grounds on foot and in golf carts assisting guests, relieving co-workers for breaks, and responding to calls for assistance.
Searching and screening ticketed guests entering restricted areas for prohibited items and providing safe orderly crowd control.
Inspect camping structures upon entry for prohibited items.
Securing of doors and gates at designated times.
Patrolling of the property for unwanted, unsafe, and / or suspicious behavior.
Assist setting up perimeter fencing and barricades.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
