Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements. Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing results needed for success. Complete reports by recording observations and information, occurrences, and surveillance activities. Respond to alarms and dispatched calls; decide what actions to take based on situation, facts known and position limitations. Decide when incident requires written report; decide which report form to use and submit to supervisor. Unlock buildings/doors after checking identification and compliance with policies. May assist law enforcement officers with crowd control and surveillance at large public events. Deal with uncertainty, must have the ability to make objective decisions. Position Requirements: Previous security experience High school diploma or GED Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours per shift), walk, run, and climb flights of stairs Bend, squat, twist, and turn multiple times during your shift Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
