The candidate will: The Facility Security Officer is responsible for implementing the industrial security program and ensuring the company and customer security requirements are met. The Facility Security Officer requires expertise in all disciplines of the security field. Produce finished documentation e.g., reports, plan of actions and milestones, policy and procedure development, training programs, and assessments, and maintain data compliance in DISS. Maintain security program compliance to include managing NISS facility profiles, submitting changed conditions packages, FCL Sponsorship packages. Make critical security decisions and implement security procedures that prevent unauthorized access to company and/or government facilities or information, take independent action when warranted or in the absence of the senior leadership and bring security risks to the attention of the NISSC II Security Manager and General Manager/Program Manager. Provide clear guidance to company employees and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate. Provide research and technical support to projects, produce solutions and documentation, and monitor project tasks and schedules.
