Moorings Park is looking for a Security / Gate Guard. The Security Guard monitors all traffic entering and leaving the property, monitors computers for any emergencies that may arise, and the access control system, which allows authorized controlled entry into the facility. Secures and patrols buildings and entire campus
Current Availability:
On-call: As needed
Contributions:
Monitors security, resident alerts, and fire alarm system taking appropriate action.
Distributes and processes barcode application forms in conjunction with installation of barcodes to authorized applicants.
Enters data into the security access control system as well as various department databases.
Receives calls and dispatches appropriate personnel to handle after hour emergencies which may arise in residential apartments, i.e. water leaks, A/C problems, etc.
Monitors traffic entering Moorings Park in an efficient and courteous manner and if necessary, contacts residents or staff to authorize admission of visitors or guests.
Operates switchboard after hours receiving and transferring calls and operates a two-way radio system.
Keeps accurate and legible records, logs, and reports.
May be required to lock up buildings, patrol the campus during the evening hours and report any maintenance emergencies or problems to the on-call maintenance person.
Job Requirements:
Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required.

The purpose of this job is to perform the duties of Security Officer in accordance with company standards for satisfactory performance.
Essential Job Description: Patrols hotel premises to maintain order, enforce regulations, and ensure observance of applicable laws by performing the following duties. Essential duties and responsibilities are as follows (other duties may be assigned):

Additional duties include control access and egress; monitor CCTV and alarm systems; compose reports; deter criminal activity and misconduct. Due to the safety sensitive nature of this role, qualified candidates must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law. This assignment is in a healthcare facility. As such, a tuberculosis (TB) test and certain vaccinations may be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in vehicle; document detailed observations of unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients; restrain combative individuals as necessary (within company and customer guidelines)
Transport patients to the morgue, as needed
Assist in escorting patients from helicopter pad (high elevation) to the emergency room
