Each officer will be responsible to obtain an update on activities of importance to department operations. This includes discussions with someone from the previous shift, and reading and signing the brief, operations and daily activities logs. Officers will sign on with the dispatcher. Officers will report to the assigned area to relieve the previous shift at that location (e.g.: parking lot, emergency, front desk, etc.). All shift activities will be properly and accurately recorded on the security log. Responds in a timely manner and report all incidents occurring on hospital property and submit an incident report after the investigation to the director by end of shift. Assures an orderly, safe, efficient, access and parking for patients, visitors, and employees.
