* Ensures construction of SAPF projects are completed IAW ICD 705 and customer guidance.
* Responsible for all aspects of security to include management of DD-254, personnel, physical, technical, classification management, and customer engagements.
* Prepares implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials.
* Develops and conducts security education classes.
* Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
* Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners.
* Processes clearances and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings.
Basic Qualifications:
* Experience with 32 CFR. 117, NISPOM and other government regulations. - Experience with National Industrial Security System (NISS), and the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
* Final Secret clearance to start with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
* Experience with the Security Information management System (SIMS).
* Working knowledge of DD254s.
* Advanced Proficiency with NISPOM, ICD705, and DoD.
* Experience with Intrusion Detection Systems and Access Control Systems.

Accountable to the Huntsville Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager for all security operations.

Provide and verify security briefings, onboarding, and debriefings for employees, customers, and visitors.
Oversee Insider Threat awareness and Security Education & Training in accordance with NISPOM and DoD requirements.
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with security policies.
Report security incidents and adverse information per policy.
Provide classified information management and maintain accountability records, including inventory, transmittals, and final disposition.
Manage and maintain security systems, including intrusion detection and access control. Collaborate with Information Security and IT teams on classified system accreditation and technology planning under RMF guidelines.
Review and implement prime and subcontract DD254 security controls as prescribed in the DD254, SOW, and SCG.
Verify personnel security clearances and SCI accesses through government security databases.
Enforce security policies, including SOPs, transportation plans, OPSEC plans, and Program Protection Implementation Plans (PPIP).
Conduct security violation analyses and investigations, resolving classified security issues and reporting findings to executive leadership and USG security agencies.
Liaise with government agency representatives, external customers, contractors, executives, employees, and managers.
Serve as the primary point of contact for business growth, driving expansion into new facilities and opportunities.
Utilize Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools such as Slack to manage security documentation, reporting, and communication.

PT SSCC Police Officer
Security Officer Job 52 miles from Madison
Primary Purpose Provide for the safety and well-being of the faculty, staff, students, and visitors. Provide a secure environment through crime prevention and control, criminal investigation, traffic and parking supervision, disaster coordination, maintenance of public order and other related services; working in partnership with the College administration to promote health and safety.
Essential Job Functions
* Provide foot and vehicular patrol of the campus.
* Respond to and investigate all incidents on campus including but not limited to motor vehicle accidents or criminal or college violations.
* Secure all campus buildings at the conclusion of classes and activities.
* Conduct complex misdemeanor and or felony investigations including but not limited to interviewing victims, suspects and offenders, preparing photo lineups, collecting evidence and preparing case files.
* Provide security to college community as requested, including but not limited to making rounds in each building and supervising sporting events and campus events; or acting as a witness at meetings involving potentially irate personnel or students.
* Enforce criminal and traffic laws, making arrests, and issuing summons as required.
* Issue tickets for parking violations.
* Complete detailed incident reports.
* Monitor authorized student activities for adherence to college policies.
* Transport bank deposits for college business office.
* Make electronic emergency notifications to campus community.
* Escort dignitaries and provide executive security.
* Detect and report hazardous conditions including but not limited to potholes, light outages, obstructions, etc.
* Complete twelve hours of continuing education annually as required by APOST and other training as designated by the Chief of Police.
* Lend security support to all campus as requested.
* Must be available to work all shifts including day, evening, night and weekends.
* Issue parking decals and student identifications.
* Collect and maintain lost and found property.
* Appear in court and testify as required.
* Assist and participate in emergency training, drills and exercises.
* Monitor security cameras.
* Other duties as assigned by the Chief of Police.
Marginal Functions
* Respond to fire alarms and advise fire department when necessary.
* Administer emergency first aid/CPR.
* Open car doors, if possible, when keys have been locked inside.
* Assist in starting vehicles with weak batteries.
* Assist motorist with flat tires.
* Collect, document and secure lost-and-found property.
* Deliver messages to people who cannot be reached by phone or radio.
* Transport the mail and cash receipts to designated "on and off" campus locations
* Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
* Perform monthly inspections of fire extinguishers.
* Conduct light surveys when requested.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Knowledge of city, state, and federal laws.
* Ability to deal effectively with the public in emergency situations.
* Knowledge of first aid/CPR.
* Good verbal and written communications skills.
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
* Ability to pass the weapons qualification requirement (APOST).
* Ability to adapt to a work schedule rotation.
* Ability to obtain NCIC certification.
Education: High School or GED Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.
