Essential Functions
On an assigned shift, operates a patrol car to observe for violations of City, county or state laws, suspicious activities or persons and disturbances of law and order.
Responds to radio dispatches and answers calls and complaints; administers first aid.
Serves warrants and makes arrests; testifies in court.
Checks building security; responds to business and bank alarms.
Operates police traffic radar for speed law enforcement.
Investigates traffic accidents; secures information and evidence; directs traffic and enforces traffic laws; conducts traffic surveys and checks.

Reports unsafe conditions existing in street or other public facilities.

May be assigned specific collateral duties such as administrative, special response team, special operations, school resource officer, investigations, animal control, etc.
Performs related tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Must possess either a B.L.E.T or State certification.
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must meet minimum age requirement of 20 years old.
Some knowledge of police methods, practices and procedures.
Some knowledge of the geography of the City and location of important buildings.
Some knowledge of the rules and regulations of the Police Department.
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and to prepare clear reports.
Ability to deal courteously but firmly with the public.
Ability to analyze situations and to adopt quick, effective and reasonable courses of action with due regard to surrounding hazards and circumstances.

The Secured Bankruptcy Specialist III will be responsible for the administration of a portfolio of loans secured by automobiles or other secured collateral. Specialist will ensure all account information is entered in internal systems correctly, handle calls related to these accounts, monitor for payments, and take any appropriate actions if payments are missed. The Secured Bankruptcy Specialist III with report directly to the Bankruptcy Customer Service Supervisor.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Oversee administration of specified portfolio(s) of loans secured by automobiles.
* Assist Manager with updates to process documentation.
* Prepare and file proofs of claim and transfers of claim in bankruptcy cases as necessary and in a timely manner.
* Ensure that all payment and contract information is entered correctly in ILS for each account.
* Process correspondence and documents concerning account information, bankruptcy updates, and collateral.
* Handle inbound and outbound phone calls with attorneys, bankruptcy trustees, and consumers (when appropriate).
* Access chapter 13 trustee websites to confirm payments and trustee claim information.
* Monitor accounts for payments in accordance with the bankruptcy plans. Contact trustee, debtor's attorney, or consumer (when appropriate) to facilitate timely pre-petition and post-petition payments.

Detention Officer I:

Performs duties in a lead worker role and provides area specific supervisory roles when required.
Responsible for training and evaluation of new hires and employees who need remedial training.

Police Officer's perform responsible protective service work involving a variety of general or support duty police assignments; does related work as required.
