Responsibilities Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Provide supervision of security operations including vulnerability mitigation, incident response, and risk assessments. Coordinate, and implement policies, and procedures for safety and security protocols at the venue. Ensure all building security systems are operating as necessary during event and non-event periods. Security systems include but are not limited to; cameras and access control, physical security equipment (Screening Gateways, hand-wands, etc.). Serve as the primary escalation point to client and employee security inquiries, concerns, and/or complaints during an event. Alleviate future escalated issues by examining all past situations and maintaining a pro-active process. Work with the Events department and offer guidance with event estimates as it relates to security, police, fire, and medical needs. Responsible for championing awareness, influencing compliance with security policies, and providing solutions for business specific security issues. Assist with developing comprehensive models for deployments based on capacity and show genre. Supervision over a sustainable security culture, while addressing employee conduct and performance concerns. Establish and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with customers, including local, state, and federal authorities. Establish and maintain the venue's reputation for excellent entertainment experience by balancing enforcement of rules and regulations with guest safety and enjoyment. Maintain the proper image and generate positive public relations by resolving guest/artist/client/tenant issues, concerns, and complaints pertaining to security during events. Assist with the development, implementation and supervision of facility security systems and programs. Assist with developing comprehensive dot maps serving various functionalities including but not limited to staff placement, accessibility, and/or access control. Communicate with client Security personnel and advance various tour needs in preparation of show. Coordinate directly with emergency services personnel and oversee Medical and First Aid facilities. Oversee and supervise contracted security personnel associated with various events. Assist in the communications to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies if relevant for the event. Other duties and responsibilities as relevant and necessary. Make immediate decisions and communicate with management, first responders, venue guests, employers, and performers in the facility in an emergency situation.
