* Ensures construction of SAPF projects are completed IAW ICD 705 and customer guidance.
* Responsible for all aspects of security to include management of DD-254, personnel, physical, technical, classification management, and customer engagements.
* Prepares implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials.
* Develops and conducts security education classes.
* Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
* Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners.
* Processes clearances and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings.
Basic Qualifications:
* Experience with 32 CFR. 117, NISPOM and other government regulations. - Experience with National Industrial Security System (NISS), and the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
* Final Secret clearance to start with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
* Experience with the Security Information management System (SIMS).
* Working knowledge of DD254s.
* Advanced Proficiency with NISPOM, ICD705, and DoD.
* Experience with Intrusion Detection Systems and Access Control Systems.

Accountable to the Huntsville Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager for all security operations.

Provide and verify security briefings, onboarding, and debriefings for employees, customers, and visitors.
Oversee Insider Threat awareness and Security Education & Training in accordance with NISPOM and DoD requirements.
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with security policies.
Report security incidents and adverse information per policy.
Provide classified information management and maintain accountability records, including inventory, transmittals, and final disposition.
Manage and maintain security systems, including intrusion detection and access control. Collaborate with Information Security and IT teams on classified system accreditation and technology planning under RMF guidelines.
Review and implement prime and subcontract DD254 security controls as prescribed in the DD254, SOW, and SCG.
Verify personnel security clearances and SCI accesses through government security databases.

Conduct security violation analyses and investigations, resolving classified security issues and reporting findings to executive leadership and USG security agencies.
Liaise with government agency representatives, external customers, contractors, executives, employees, and managers.

Utilize Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools such as Slack to manage security documentation, reporting, and communication.

Identify anomalies and variances in finished construction work against the official project construction plans
Perform close-in/seal-in inspections in accordance with the CSP, SSM, and SSC direction

Carry out opening and closing procedures of the SCS each day as directed by the SSM

Sunstates Security is currently hiring Part-Time Security Officers in the Huntsville, AL area. These positions offer a starting pay rate of $17.00/hr - with weekly pay.
Requirements
Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work weekends, holidays, and in all weather conditions.
Must be capable to stand, sit, bend, reach, and/or walk up to 45 minutes consistently.
Truck gate experience is preferred.
AL security license is preferred.
Exceptional customer service and critical thinking skills.
CPR certification is preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Previous experience and/or knowledge in logistics and data entry is a plus.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Ensure the security of the area, this includes the outside premises.
Ensure the rules and regulations are followed.
Report writing (daily activity, incident, visitor logs, maintenance items, etc.).
Checking in visitors, ensure policies are followed, foot patrols, access control.
Monitor CCTV cameras and equipment.
Other duties as assigned by management.
A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Education Requirements (Any)

Technician II - Security
Security Job 18 miles from Athens
This Technician II Security position will provide efficient and high-quality installations related to integrated security systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to performing startup, installation, closeout and service of jobs; assisting in design and other tasks as assigned while delivering on Paladin Technologies commitments.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installs, terminates and tests equipment as per specifications and in conjunction with any pertaining building and or electrical codes.
Responsible for training apprentices on Company procedures, systems, and installation techniques.
Work with Field Engineers on startup to ensure complete system compliance.
Daily communications with Installation Supervisor on delays, requirements, and general status of jobs to ensure delivery of the project
Work with Installation Supervisor to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to the client and service department
Repair, restore and test all systems per specifications and in conjunction with any pertaining building and or electrical codes.
Accurate written record keeping, submitted on time and complete,
Maintain professional licensing as required by State and Local jurisdictions
Support, lead, and mentor team members
Design systems and layout
Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism
Lead projects at a site level, manage a team of junior technicians as necessary
Some travel within six-hour driving radius maybe required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to pass pre-employment screening
Minimum 2 years working in the electronic field with daily use of AC/DC theory
Ability to read blue prints and schematics as evidenced by 1 year of experience
Basic computer skills including MS Office Suite as evidenced by 1 year of experience
Aptitude for learning system programming as evidenced by 1 year of experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree (2 year) in a technical capacity
3+ years working in the electronic field with daily use of AC/DC theory
Proper hand and power tool operations and safety
Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under minimal supervision

Security Job 40 miles from Athens
This position performs police work in the protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and regulations on the UNA campus. Employees in this job classification perform police and patrol work in accordance with federal, state, county and municipal laws as well as university rules and regulations. Work normally consists of routine patrol, preliminary investigations, traffic-control duties, maintenance of order and observing for irregular activities. Persons selected for this position are police officers and must comply with all rules, regulations, and policies of the Alabama Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission (APOSTC).
* Uphold Alabama law;
