The opportunity: We are looking for a Scrum Master to drive the agile processes and cadence of the Software Development chapter to support the continued delivery of quality outcomes and robust digital solutions for our clients. You will form part of a high performing, collaborative team who in collaboration with other Digital Lighthouse chapters, solve our clients most complex business challenges through harnessing the power of technology

Day to day you will: Lead the iterative evolvement and operation of new ways of working using Agile frameworks and a CI / CD led approach with a strong focus on automation Use Scrum Master expertise and in collaboration with the Product Owner, co-ordinate backlog refinement, manage new requests, co-ordinate sprint planning, retros and daily stand ups Build strong working relationships and regularly collaborate with product owners, delivery leads and business stakeholders to align on expectations, update on project delivery and build trust Remove impediments from the development team and create an environment where they feel supported, empowered and creativity can occur

What you'll bring to the team: Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a fast-paced environment, underpinned by relevant Agile and Scrum certifications (PMI-ACP, ICP, AgilePM, SAFe etc) A good understanding and working knowledge of programming languages such as CSS, HTML, JavaScript. Ideally having had exposure to a SaaS environmentA Servant leadership mindset with the ability to support conflict resolution, continual improvement, effective collaboration and empowerment Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with demonstrated people and project management capability A can-do attitude and willingness to learn, innovate and challenge the status quo by introducing new ideas and concepts to the team

ScrumMaster is responsible for the functionality of a scrum team and ensuring that the scrum team can continue to work without impediments from a servant leadership perspective. This person is also responsible for control over the scrum processes and ceremonies.
Responsibilities

+ Guide and coach the team and organization to follow Agile/Scrum practice

+ Guide and coach the team to become self-organized

+ Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization

+ Facilitate all scrum processes and ceremonies for one to two scrum teams

+ Improve transparency within the team

+ Remove impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment

+ Build a safe and trusting environment where conflicts can be managed in a healthy way without fear of blame

+ Be responsible for supporting and coaching the Product Owner on Agile/Scrum practices

+ Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example

+ Responsible for assisting with documentation needed to track internal projects

Experience & Skills

+ Experienced in a ScrumMaster role for at least two years for an agile software development team

+ Certified ScrumMaster is preferred

+ Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment, transparency and servant leadership

+ Knowledge of Agile approaches - Kanban, Scrum, XP, etc.

+ Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques - Automated Testing, User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Testing, Pairing, Agile Games, etc.

The Scrum Master will work with multiple teams and focus on making sure the teams are running efficient, handle any project issues and work with key stakeholders.
**What You-ll Do**

As a Scrum Master at Sogeti you will have the opportunity to:

+ Lead daily scrum, sprint review, sprint demo, and planning meetings for one of our clients.

+ Oversee the scrum process and guide client teams on how to use Agile/Scrum practices.

+ Work with our client-s product owners and product managers to ensure the product backlogs are ready for the next iteration.

+ Help forecast the number of deliverables possible in an iteration.

**Minimum education qualification**

+ A bachelor's degree is required. MBA or equivalent degree preferred.

**The ideal candidate will have:**

+ At least 2+ years relevant experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team.

+ First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I)

+ Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.

+ Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices.

+ Knowledge of Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.

+ Understanding on tracking and reporting of metrics: burndown, velocity, etc.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
