Responsible for the efficient running of Shipping & Finished Goods on 1st shift within the Bennington, VT manufacturing location. Job Location: Vishay Tansitor is located in Bennington, VT and is the world's number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors worldwide. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees between 3 shifts. What you will be doing: * Systematically receives, picks, packages and ships all types of finished goods and raw materials. * Performs a general inspection and unloads incoming finished goods. * Notifies lead and/or supervisor of any damaged or mislabeled items. * Picks deliveries as generated using the RF Terminal. * Verifies correct quantities, date codes, lots, per specific delivery instructions. * Packs deliveries using a WAVES enabled computer station. * Verifies correct quantities, date codes, lots, per specific delivery instructions. * Packs deliveries in correct packaging for each material type and customer specification. * Ensures correct labeling of materials and cartons per customer specification. * Ships all deliveries with the shipping system terminal. * Ensures correct routing and billing for each delivery. * Ensures that all deliveries are packaged/palletized sufficiently and follows all customer guidelines regarding packaging/palletizing. * Ensures all carrier labeling, packaging, palletizing, and paperwork requirements are met.
