Scanner job description

On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Part-Time Field Data Scanners. As a Field Data Scanner, you will be in charge of obtaining field data from a collection of retail stores in the Detroit and surrounding area (Taylor, Allen Park, Warren, Madison Heights) by performing video scans using an iPhone 10 (or higher) throughout the week. Scans must be done twice a week, but you can pick the days. Applicants should be organized, dependable, comfortable using Smartphone apps, and willing to travel between stores. We do not expect any interaction with store employees or shoppers.
Responsibilities of a Field Data Scanner:

Obtain field data by performing video scans using an iPhone
Accurately collect data with high level of detail orientation in natural settings
Work with technology and troubleshoot as needed
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance
Eligible to work in the US
Must have an iPhone 10 or higher
Experience working in a retail environment (preferred)

Schedule:

Approximately 8-12 hours per week
Project is expected to last through the end of 2022

Pay

$16.50/HR

*We are offering a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 for this position!*

The Computerized Tomography Scanner Technologist performs diagnostic imaging studies as assigned, applies principles of radiation protection, exercises professional judgment in the performance of imaging procedures, and provides necessary patient care during the course of imaging procedures.

*Essential Job Functions*
* Performs imaging duties as assigned
* Positions the patient being tested to insure that proper image capture is achieved
* Selects proper technical factors
* Utilizes computer to record patient status
* Functions proficiently with all technical equipment in diagnostic modality
* Assists physician in performing imaging studies
* Prepares contrast media for administration to patients and assists the physician

* Maintains technical imaging equipment to be in proper working conditioned
* Reports malfunctioning equipment or housekeeping issues to appropriate person
* Keeps equipment and work area clean and neat
* Maintains an adequate inventory of all necessary supplies

*CT Technologist Required Qualifications*
* Satisfactory completion of formal Radiology technology training in an AMA approved school
* Effective communication skills and excellent patient care skills required
* Current registry by ARRT, advanced CT certification required within 12 months of hire date
* Licensure by the State of Illinois (IEMA)
* CPR training required and BLS training recommended

Summary:

To operate a computerized bar code scanner to process returns according to client guidelines.

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Scan product codes of client products to input data into Company's computerized system for processing in a productive and accurate manner.
• Sort scanned product in appropriate container locations.
• Inspect condition of product and prepare for disposition in accordance with client contract terms.
• Clean and organize work area daily.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma preferred or its equivalent; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the responsibilities of this position.
• Working knowledge of computers
• Ability to work under time pressure and meet production goals
• Ability to assist other operations within the warehouse, as needed and if applicable
• Ability to meet set production and quality goals and follow standard operating and safety procedures
• Ability to work with hazardous waste
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
