A CVOR Tech is accountable for the technical functions related to the "scrub" role during the surgical patient's perioperative experience What you will do: Cardiovascular Surgical Tech needed for Open Heart program Performs assessment of supplies and equipment for procedures as required by surgeons preference card. Demonstrates appropriate skill and knowledge to set up an operating room with proper equipment and instrumentation for a specific procedure. Notifies the circulator of any equipment or supplies that may be missing or in need of repair. Practices cost containment by opening only minimal supplies necessary for procedure.
