This Inside Sales Applications Engineer will support existing outside sales teams by handling technical inquiries, prospecting leads, and providing exceptional customer service. The position plays a crucial role in enabling the sales teams to focus on strategic initiatives while ensuring seamless customer interactions.
Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for incoming sales inquiries, responding promptly and professionally to customer requests and inquiries
Collaborate closely with the outside sales team to gather and disseminate product information, technical specifications, and pricing details
Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, quotations, and other sales-related documentation
Qualify leads and opportunities, and route them to the appropriate outside salesperson for follow-up
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline information in the company's CRM system
Develop a deep understanding of the product portfolio, including membrane technologies, reverse osmosis systems, and related components
Provide technical support and guidance to customers, addressing their queries and concerns regarding product specifications, applications, and compatibility
Participate in trade shows, webinars, and other marketing events to generate leads and promote products and services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Sales, Marketing) or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an inside sales or technical sales support role, preferably in the water treatment or membrane technology industry
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and communicate complex product specifications and applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales-related software tools
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

We are actively seeking new Financial Advisors over the remainder of this year to join our rapidly growing Sarasota-Manatee office in Sarasota, FL. Strong applicants will have exceptional interpersonal skills and a history of personal/professional success with a strong desire for additional growth.

Preferred qualifications include, but are not limited to:
Bachelor's degree
Strong interpersonal, networking, and prospecting skills
