The Technology Inside Sales Specialist will collaborate with all Quill sales teams & internal business units to support new and existing customers, in turn developing transactional and solution sales. What youll be doing:
High conversion rate of opportunities within approved margin guidelines.
Support our most valuable customers by partnering with Account Managers and Key Account Managers (up to $5M accounts) to secure one-time and recurring projects.
Manage multiple lead channels from hunt lines, loaded leads, web leads and chat.
Demonstrated knowledge of Quills specialized product offerings, pricing, and solutions.
Maintain opportunity pipeline through company CRM and meets Pipeline SOP adherence to ensure all opportunities are contacted and worked on appropriately.
Collaboration and partnership with multiple channels, e.g., sales team, merchants, and vendors.
Effectively educate customers on appropriate Quill.com features and benefits based on category.
Successfully increase net sales/grow share of wallet by consolidating business from other vendors and developing a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts and their affiliated sites.

They buy and install $12,000 to $15,000 Industrial Labeling and Printing Machines for their manufacturing customers, and, in addition, they do $50,000 to $150,000 custom installations of multiple machines and configure the customer's current equipment to fit into that process. They are a family-owned business founded in 1963.
Position Description: They are seeking an Industrial Sales Engineer to join their team and run their Illinois Territory. About 85% of their customer base and potential customers live within an hour of downtown Chicago. The furthest away customer would be south near Champagne, IL. As long as you live within 30 miles (in any direction of Chicago O'Hare Airport), you can work out of your home. The company will supply you with a laptop and a printer. The breakdown of your time will be 60% hunting for new business and 40% managing and expanding the business with current customers.
Compensation: The person's BASE salary will be $85,000 a year for the first two years as they are building their customer base. They will also be paid commissions and bonuses based on their sales volume. They should make between $90,000 to $100,000 total compensation in their first year and over that in their second year. The base will drop to $65,000 in the third year but the commissions should put them in the $100,000 to $150,000 range.
Benefits Package: The company will pay 100% of the person's medical premium and this will also cover the employee's family. Dental Insurance is also available but will be paid for by the employee and it typically comes out to about $25 a month. There is also a 401K with a 5% match.
Travel: The person will use their own vehicle and pay their own insurance BUT they will get reimbursed at the IRS rate of 70 cents a mile for their travel and, in addition, all meals and hotels are reimbursed. About 50% of your time will be spent in your home office setting up appointments and the other 50% will involve face-to-face meetings with customers throughout the State of Illinois (but mostly in Chicago). You should be home for dinner most nights and will probably do only 1 or 2 overnight stays a month.

**Job Summary**
The Lab sales team focuses on selling high-quality Cardinal Health Brand Laboratory Products and Services tailored for every lab discipline, including custom kitting and distribution services into hospital and independent labs. The **Sales** **Consultant** **, Laboratory Products** **& Distribution** has the responsibility for growing Cardinal Health Brand, Preferred National Brand products & distribution services in these facilities. This individual will take the lead role in delivering complex broad-based portfolio of solutions that meet customer needs and builds and sustains relationships with current and new accounts. Our Cardinal Health Laboratory team is deeply knowledgeable into the clinical lab industry and the challenges it faces, including increasing complexity, workforce shortages, budget constraints and evolving supply chain requirements. Our comprehensive product offering is continuously expanding to meet the requirements of our customers, and we support the end-to-end testing workflow with products for every lab discipline, including custom kitting solutions, capital equipment and point of care options.
**Territory:** This role will cover southern Illinois stretching into St. Lous, MO. Ideal candidate location is around the Springfield, IL or St. Louis, MO metropolitan areas.
**Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for managing a large territory with the direct objectivetoincrease account penetration, and customer satisfaction within the lab space.
+ Drive new business, providing optimal service, targeting Cardinal brand conversion opportunities and growth across the lab products portfolioand distribution services.
+ Collaborates both internally and externally within various business units such as key contacts within national accounts, GPO , and other vendors to archiveresults.
+ Initiates and takes ownership of principles of territory management, including account planning, selling processes, post-sales implementation processes, deal economics.
+ Negotiates contracts locally, including costing agreements with manufacturers.
+ Ensures optimal service levels and holds internal teams accountable for customer service, operations, pricing, inventory, etc.
+ Validates that contacts are loaded in a timely manner and that contracts are back dated correctly and that the integrity of the contract is maintained. Submits and processes all account maintenance for customer accounts within the internal system.
+ Provides technical support on products such as providing demonstrations of products, samples of products and conducting trainingsof staff.
+ Complete all administrative tasks & training including expense reports, pipeline, maintainaccurate SFDC records, market feedback, etc.
+ Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed. Attend all regional, divisional and sector events including National Sales Meetings.
+ Maintain required sales activity level - examples include the number of expected visits & calls, number of products presented/account, etc.
+ Assists distribution order support and coordination as needed. Assist customers with back-orders and other related service issues
+ Maintain knowledge of the current industry/competitive landscape including, GPO's, healthcare economics, reimbursement, competitors, competitive products, etc.
+ Travel within assigned territory to call on accounts including overnight travel. Maintain active, in-person presence
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
+ Previous successful sales experience in distribution or healthcare preferred, lab experience beneficial
+ Lives within the managed territory (lives within 30 minutes of city where largest prime vendors are located)
+ Experience working with Microsoft applications and other CRM tools (i.e. salesforce)
+ Understands the sales process in a faced paced, highly complex selling environment
+ Must be experienced with business development and cold calling
+ Strong organizational skills & business acumen
+ Demonstrate history of high achievement and coachability through new challenges
+ Ability to travel as needed (about 4-6 overnights a month on average)
+ A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States with a clean driving record
+ Customer/Vendor credentialing is required (this may include vaccinations). More details will be provided if you are selected for an interview.
**Anticipated pay range:** $128,000 - $157,800 (includes targeted variable pay)
