New York Institute of Technology, Division of Campus Dining seeks a full-time Attendant to work the Manhattan Cafe at our NYC campus. Reporting to the Area Supervisor the Attendant will be responsible for the following:
* Responsibilities:
* Must learn to operate and serve coffee beverages with use of espresso machine and follow the recipes for all beverages and serve beverages in a timely manner

A Day in the Life of a Café Attendant at Colleton River:
Adhere to established rules and regulations of the Club, while working scheduled shifts.

Possess competent knowledge of wines and spirits. Stay current with wine and bar trends and South Carolina laws.

Position Purpose: the counter attendant/barista is responsible for handling the counter, greeting guests, and providing guests with requested items.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Greet the guests who approach the counter displays and walk into the café.
Answer all guest questions related to product and displayed items.
Pack and provide the guests with requested items.
Ensure that all items are correctly rung-in on checks.
Maintain correct pars of items in the display, carefully following the FIFO rules and discarding promptly expired or under standard items.
Maintain appearance of counter and the display in an on-going manner throughout the hours of operation.
