Plans, implements and supervises project safety and ensures that accident and fire protection programs are in compliance with the Safety Program on the assigned project. Consults with Safety Manager to develop safe work plans for all project phases and crew tasks. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities: Assist in developing, implementing, and coordinating the safety training programs. This may include employee orientations, specific program training, monitoring, and assisting in weekly safety meetings, supervisor training, and accident awareness training Performs safety surveys and inspections, prepares written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures where indicated, and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented Conducts post-accident investigation and prepares report identifying possible accident causes and hazards for use by company personnel and senior management Assist managers and supervisors in investigating and documenting all property damage, personal injuries, safety violations, and unsafe conditions and activities Work with managers and supervisors in managing hazardous working conditions and eliminating unsafe employee activities.
