Position summary: Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Highway Maintenance Supervisor to perform and oversee highway maintenance operations in the Houston, TX area. The position is based in Porter, TX and is responsible for maintenance work program and scheduling, and highway maintenance and construction activities. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance, including but not limited to the supervision of crews performing debris removal, guardrail repair, maintenance of traffic, and other activities. Adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen company policies and procedures is required.
Required Experience:
* Minimum of five (5) years of highway construction maintenance industry related experience
* Basic knowledge Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Earth Strong
* Leadership qualities; must have experience in overseeing, directing and leading construction crews.
* Strong organizational skills for timesheets and inventory tracking, scheduling & work planning as well as oversight of maintenance crews to ensure work execution/completion
* Roadway or guardrail maintenance experience
* Concrete forming/repair experience
* Wheel Loader, Skidsteer, ForkLift, Asphalt Roller, etc operator
Preferred Experience:
Experience with projects using TxDOT standard specifications
Roadway or construction maintenance experience
MOT Certifications (traffic control)

This crew will be based in the San Antonio,TX area and must be able to work during the day shift, mid shift, and night shift. Required Experience:

Preferred Experience: Electrical & Roadway maintenance experience
Bilingual: English/Spanish (read/write) preferred but not required
Clean driving record is essential
Must pass criminal background check
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)
Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
Carry out simple arithmetic functions
Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
Ability to use smart phone and applications
Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

Schedule:

Position summary: Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking full-time Guardrail Maintenance Technicians to perform highway maintenance operations in the Houston, Texas area. This position is based in Porter, TX and requires performing a variety of tasks related to the supervision of crews performing highway maintenance, debris removal, sign and guardrail repair, concrete repair, etc. as well as adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.
Required Experience:
Minimum 2 years of highway related experience
Roadway or guardrail maintenance experience
Concrete forming/repair experience
Wheel Loader, Skidsteer, ForkLift, Asphalt Roller, etc operator
Preferred Experience:
Experience with projects using TxDOT standard specifications
Roadway construction or maintenance experience
MOT Certifications (traffic control)
Clean driving record is essential
Must pass criminal background check
CDL License a plus
Qualifications:

This position is based in Joshua, TX and requires performing a variety of tasks related to snow and ice, guardrail and attenuator repair/replacement, signs, lighting/electrical work, mowing, tree trimming, incident response, drainage cleaning, debris removal, and asphalt/concrete repairs, and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures. Schedule flexibility is a must, as there may be 10 - 20% of night work involved
