Review all pre-trip paperwork for accuracy such as invoices corresponding with merchandise, route sheets for customer numbers, C.O.D.'s Collect on all C.O.D.'s upon delivery to the customer when applicable. Unload and check all pallets for accuracy at the time of delivery ( must wear approved footwear when performing delivery activities ). Obtain signatures on paperwork from the customer along with a store stamp if applicable. Return all paperwork to dispatch at end of the day. Check the temperature in the truck during the route to ensure the product is being transported at the proper temperature. Clean out the truck of all returns and reclamation upon return to the facility and place it in the designated area. Immediately report any accident and or incident to the supervisor and follow proper protocol. Responsibilities and Duties: CDL is Not required, must have 1-year experience driving 26ft Trucks Must have a clean driver's license (no points) Drivers must be at least 25 years of age!!! Must pass a Physical Road Test Evaluation Clean Criminal Background Must pass a drug test upon employment as well as through random drug screenings At least 1 year (verifiable) truck driving experience. Responsible for offloading trucks using a hand truck. Reviewing, issuing, and receiving the signed invoices. Responsible for checking all orders loaded and off-loaded with daily Pre/Post Trip route logs.
