Successfully trained Development Inspectors will be assigned higher level duties based upon experience and certifications held.
1. Provides technical inspections within the Town's right-of way (potable water, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, reclaimed non-potable water, roadway, curb and gutter, sidewalks and all accompanying apertures) ensuring proper installation per Town of Holly Springs Engineering Design and Construction Standards and approved construction drawings.
2. Communicates, coordinates and schedules time with Land Developers, Builders, Engineers, Superintendents, Contractors and Sub-Contractors on all aspects concerning each individual project. Includes the preconstruction meeting, field inspections, punchlist creation, project warranty, intermediate inspections, post warranty punchlist, Triassic soils roadway warranty and the final acceptance letter.
3. Responsible for testing of public and private roadways and fire lanes, potable water, reclaimed water and sewer lines after installation has been completed to ensure compliance with the Town's Engineering Design and Construction Standards.
4. Coordinates road closures, traffic concerns with Police, Fire and Public Information team.
5. Tracks projects and accepts public infrastructure being constructed by private development projects on behalf of Development Services and the Town. Follows the project through the warranty period and contacts developers to replace or repair any problems until accepted by the Town through the punchlist process.
6. Communicate milestones to the Contractor and development team through written and verbal communication.
7. Reviews and approves As-built Drawings that have been submitted to the department by the engineering firm for a given project.
8. Reviews approved utility and roadway permits issued by other local or state agencies for conditions to verify compliance.
9. Exercises judgment and provides interpretation of codes, standards, and ordinances for team members and design professionals specifically related to processes and technical guidance associated with transportation, utilities, land disturbance, and other engineering elements of development.
10. Ensures enforcement of State laws, local ordinances, and other regulations pertaining to municipal operations.
11. Coordinates with other divisions and Town departments to verify all items necessary for development have been addressed.

Qualifications
• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
o Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
• Must have reliable transportation

Gymnastics Instructor - Roanoke Island/Mainland (Part Time)
Job 23 miles from Rodanthe
This is a part-time position. Instructs gymnastics in the County sports program for youth and related work as apparent or assigned. Activities will primarily be for children between the ages of 2 - 12 years of age. Courses are scheduled for 8 weeks in the Spring. Work schedules vary from 5 to 15 hours per week depending upon activity. Work is performed under the supervision of the Leisure Programs Supervisor .
Job Duties
Organizes, plans, and instructs youth in the fundamentals of gymnastics.
Plans and actively participates with children in a varity of gymnastics skills and basic tumbling.
Communicates with parents.
Interacts with the general public.
Position Qualifications
Knowledge of gymnastics, tumbling or cheer; general knowledge of first aid methods; ability to monitor program participants for health risk warning signs; ability to communicate effectively in an instructional environment; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and the general public.
