Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
For shipboard employment, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and an American citizen or Green Card holder. Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Operate sawmill equipment such as saws, conveyors, and other cutting machinery to process raw timber into finished products (e.g., lumber, planks, beams).

Material Handling: Load and unload logs or wood products onto the sawmill equipment, using forklifts or other material handling equipment when necessary.

Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in various environmental conditions (including hot or cold temperatures).
Attention to Detail: Ability to assess and correct issues with the wood or machinery that could affect product quality.
Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety practices in an industrial environment; certification in forklift operation or similar equipment is a plus.
