The Opportunity:

The Day-to-Day:

Your Qualifications:

Base salary steps down with increased tenure ($100,000 base for first 12 months, then step down to $72,500 base)

As a Behavioral Health Consultant you have the opportunity to :
Responds to requests from primary care providers to address behavioral health needs of medical clinic patients to maintain a warm hand-off for most patient encounters.

Qualifications
Clinical Psychologist Requirements
Education: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology.
Experience Preferred: One year's clinical experience working within a multidisciplinary team in primary care or other medical settings providing diagnostic and psychological assessments, for primary care-based positions. One year's clinical experience working with children, adolescents and families for specialty behavioral health settings.
Licenses/Registration: Licensed Psychologist within the state of practice. First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification within 45 days of hire.

About the Job - Your Role
You will play a vital role in preparing adults in custody (AICs) for successful reintegration into society. You will provide release services to AICs, with a primary focus on those within six months of their incarceration period. You will meet with AICs in person frequently to assess their needs, identify risks, explore housing options, and develop comprehensive release plans.
In this role, you will be processing the majority of immediate releases for the team, ensuring timely and efficient transitions for the AIC. Due to the short timeframe before many AICs are transferred to a different institution, the daily tasks and duties of this role are fast-paced and focused on short-term release planning. This includes conducting interviews, coordinating with multidisciplinary case management teams, and collaborating with community organizations to secure necessary resources. You will also present release related information to AICs in a group setting. You will respond to AICs and counsel requests, as well as inquiries from family members regarding the transition process.
This position is represented by American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME). This position may be eligible for Police & Fire (P&F) benefits through Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), as defined by statute.
