What You'll Do:
Assumes a lead role in a particular content area.
Develops assessment items to be used on District assessments and in the District item bank and develops model SLOs and learning progressions for content area assigned.
Collaborates with other departments in the management, development, and analysis of District-supported assessments and SLOs.
Utilizes the District's item banking system to modify and catalog items as needed.
Provides support and training in the use of various assessments, including semester and course assessments, common formative assessments, and item bank developed interim assessments; assists teachers and administrators with tools and resources to aid instruction.
Develops and provides training and staff development in the areas of assessment administration, ethical assessment practices, and the use of assessment information for instructional improvement.
Assists the Research Team in the development or modification of assessment reports; conducts analyses of assessment results; and supports schools in interpreting assessment results, linking results to curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
Works with network staff to provide support and professional development to District schools in the areas of SLOs, assessment literacy, and the use of online systems to deliver assessments and assessment results electronically.
Collaborates with Curriculum and Instruction personnel on various projects and reports; prepares and conducts presentations for various groups; and responds to administration and school requests for information.
Monitors SLO submissions for content area assigned, determining quality of SLOs and collaborating with schools to create next steps to address SLOs that are not of high quality.
Contributes to the ongoing development and implementation of the SLO system, providing support, communication, and training for SLOs to school leaders and teachers.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field is required.
Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience.
Three (3) or more years of substantial knowledge of and experience working with Colorado Academic Standards and/or Common Core State Standards.

_Graduate Program Administration:_
+ Designs and determines the process for graduate student orientation, working with other graduate program staff and the College.
+ Partners with Data Science student organization (DaSSA) to plan and implement regular community building events.
+ Manages graduation process, informs students of deadlines; collects required forms, verifies accuracy and signatures, and submit to Graduate School. Works closely with the Graduate Program Manager and any other Graduate Program Specialists to ensure student deadlines are met.
+ Works closely with the college Communication Specialist to ensure that all informational marketing materials for the MS program are accurate and up-to date, including recruitment brochures and the website. Ensures information on the department's graduate program website is accurate, compelling, and up to date.
+ Advises Graduate Program Specialist(s) and Residential Program Manager regarding course registration, graduate paperwork and other issues as needed.
+ Works with the Office of Admissions, Graduate School, The College of Engineering and Applied Science, Office of International Admissions and Office of Admissions, other student support services offices in campus and other Engineering Graduate Program Specialists in the college on broader programmatic issues.
+ Gathers, maintains, and analyzes MS current and prospective student statistics and data regarding applicants, matriculants, and graduates; provides data to Program Leadership on a semester basis to accurately reflect and modify presentations to necessary and interested audiences of the Data Science Program in the College of Engineering and Applied Science.

+ Supports the MS application review and admission processes. Main point of contact for applicants to the graduate program and guides applicants through the entire application process.
+ Recommends graduate program-focused process improvements to the Graduate Program Manager; offers highly specialized expertise regarding recruitment/admissions strategy and approaches that would benefit the MS-DS student population.
+ Supports annual graduate student recruiting programs, including virtual information sessions, admissions webinars, and on-campus events.
+ Reviews the standards of admission for students, including BAM students, based on data from the previous year to ensure that top applicants are recruited and makes recommendations to the Graduate Program Manager for changes in the application review process.

About the team. Thomas House serves members of the local community and U.S. military veterans referred by the Rocky Mountain Veterans Administration. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide individual and family therapy, including play therapy, gender affirming therapy and couples therapy.
Assess patients and develop tailored treatment plans
Set and evaluate therapeutic goals
Maintain clinical documentation and coordinate with other services for holistic care
Perform case management
Adhere to agency policies and fulfill additional duties as needed
Ability to write reports identifying patient goals, outcomes, and intervention

$60,035.50 - $81,021.60 annually

Work Environment:
Sessions will primarily take place in our Englewood, CO office location with opportunities for telehealth and school placements.

What you'll be doing as a Behavior Therapist
Apply the principles of one-on-one ABA therapy to help children with Autism reach their full potential by reading treatment plan and program descriptions, implementing treatment in line with written description, collecting data, writing insurance notes, and implementing feedback provided by the supervisor during observation sessions.
Support the development of children in early childhood (ages 18 months to 8 years old) through engaging and fun therapeutic activities.
Collaborate with a team of individuals to optimize treatment, safety, and a fun working experience throughout the center.
Engage with children through play, movement, and imitation. For some kids this includes running, dancing, and singing silly songs. For others, this might look like reading a book, watching a video, or playing with cars. Keeping up with the energy and enthusiasm of the kiddos, actively engaging in play, and fostering a joyful atmosphere.
Effectively and positively communicate with stakeholders (e.g., peers, families, supervisors) to coordinate activities, celebrate successes, and advocate for personal needs.
Job Requirements
Lift and move with children in a fast paced environment, which includes the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend over to pick items up off the ground, squat, quickly move around on the floor, and run to effectively stay engaged with young children, keep a tidy work environment, and maintain safety.
Maintain an environment conducive to therapy ensuring the play spaces are tidy, organized, and conducive to a stimulating and enjoyable experience for the children.
Multitask to balance multiple actions, decisions, or conversations in the moment while assessing prioritization and safety for all parties.
Support teams by working cohesively as a center, neighborhood, and region. This may include travel to nearby centers to support, when assigned.
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
Must be at least 18 years of age and have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment by passing a 40-hour training curriculum, hands on competency assessment, registering for an exam, and passing the board's exam.
