Responsibilities The Hourly Data Analyst II will assist the Central New York Regional Epidemiology Team in enteric disease surveillance and analysis throughout the fourteen-county region. Duties will include participation in a multi-team/multi-program collaborative environment including but not limited to learning and utilizing data applications on the New York State Department of Health's Health Commerce System (HCS), communicating data outcomes through webinars or email to other Regional Office peers and/or other public health partners, explore emerging public health issues that may impact enteric disease rates (i.e.-health/social equity), assisting with disease case investigations as needed based on LHD need and/or outbreak status and other communicable disease tasks as necessary. Enteric diseases may include campylobacter, cryptosporidium, cyclosporas, giardia, and salmonella.
