The team at Coastline is looking to hire a Milling, Paving, and Crushing Sales Representative at their North Las Vegas branch and look to find an enthusiastic candidate to round out the team. Job Overview The Milling, Paving and Crushing Sales Representative will be required to provide technical and application assistance to support increased Wirtgen, related machine control technologies (i.e., Topcon, Level-Pro etc.), and John Deere sales across Coastline's area of responsibility. Additionally, they will develop and promote both service and sales capabilities related to Wirtgen, Vogele, Hamm and Kleeman products. Job Responsibilities: Diagnostics and Repairs: Perform diagnostics, determine necessary repairs, and advise technicians. Testing and Compliance: Test mechanical products post-repair/assembly to ensure performance and compliance. Documentation Preparation: Prepare/review reports and complete warranty documentation. Product Knowledge: Maintain current knowledge of relevant products (e.g., Wirtgen, John Deere, Topcon). Technical Understanding: Read and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and drawings. Service Information Utilization: Utilize technical service information programs and procedures. Customer Support: Grow customer base and promote support through service contracts and technical parts support. Sales Support: Provide technical and application support during machine sales. Training: Provide product operation, diagnostic, and technical training to Coastline Technicians, Sales employees, and customers. Required Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience:5 years of experience in paving, compaction, and milling, serving in an Operator, Technician, or Sales capacity. Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude to perform diagnostics, provide technical assistance, machine inspections and setup. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM programs. Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with branch staff, corporate team, and vendor support personnel. Preferred Qualifications: Certification: One year certificate from a college or technical school or at least three years related experience and/or training in a subordinate position (preferred). Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions • Receive calls from current customers and/or non-subscribers for sales and revenue generation in a high-intensity call center sales environment. • Utilize proactive sales skills to identify needs of customers and effectively position products and solutions that best meet the needs of targeted customers regardless of customer's reason for calling. • Achieves monthly key performance metrics, call and order entry productivity standards, and call quality performance through utilization of sales skills, defined sales call flow structure, and adherence to provided schedule. • Responds to customer needs for Cox products, educates them on the latest marketing campaigns, and then recommends the packages and services to meet the customers' need based on Cox prescribed call flows. • Maintains accurate records of sales activities on a daily basis. • Increase revenue through up-selling and cross-selling video, HSI, wireless, and telephony services to existing customers. • Researches and reviews competitive pricing and service offerings in order to provide competitive price and product comparisons based on customer needs. • Responsible for utilizing multiple customer databases to access, change or input account information for new and existing customers. • Provides outstanding customer service, troubleshoot and resolve service and minor technical problems for customers by asking appropriate questions. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum : • HS diploma, GED, or relevant work experience. • Excellent computer skills. • Effective communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to multi-task. • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization. • Excellent ability to pursuade others through direct/indirect influence. • Demonstrated ability to seek out and seize opportunities and take initiative with little or no direction. • Demonstrated ability to establish collaborative customer relationships in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a high-change, often ambiguous business environment. • Eligibility to work in the United States.
