The candidate should have 7+ years of experience in UX writing or a similar field, experience thinking like a designer, and experience being a strategic partner vs operating more like a consultant. The candidate should feel comfortable working with a wide range of partners, feel comfortable with feedback (while also knowing how to respectfully push back, when needed) and bring co-creation/design thinking into their process along with collaboration in general, where relevant.
