This is one of the steps that will help with career advancement. This position is to be held as acting manager and you will be required to follow management procedures and policies. At any time any of these policies are violated, you may be removed from this position. There are specific requirements that must be done and you will be reviewed on. * Guest Service * Associate Direction * Sanitation * Cost Control * Following direction by management * Follow up of assignments both self and associate. This is just the beginning. You must maintain the highest guest service and coach and guide all associates. In the beginning, you will have the task of running the shifts. As you develop, you will be given additional assignments. The following must be done every shift: * Pre-shift walk Through, This must be filled out and delegated to associates for the shift. * Temperature charts must be completed. Please take appropriate action if there are issues. Make sure that the information is left in the manager's log for the am manager to address. * Host, Servers, Cooks, Dishwashers and Bus persons that you may assign must complete all deep-cleaning assignments. Follow charts and organize time to have all completed in a timely manner. * Make sure all associates that require breaks, including cooks are taken. * Labor must be monitored to be at or below the goal set for each shift by the manager for your pm shift. Watch closely that people are not clocking in early or staying past their shift without your knowledge. * A manager must approve overtime. If you must run OT you need to leave an explanation in the logbook with an email to the ADO. * Drawers and deposits must be accurate and timely. * All paperwork must be audited and totaled with your signature. This includes discounts, credit cards when auditing the cash drawers. * You must walk through the storage areas have pulled all empty boxes and reorganize as necessary. The floors must be free of all food and garbage at all times. * Make sure the front of house is clean and organized at all times. This can all be done if you organize your time. You must never discuss any person's performance with any associate. All conversation that needs to be addressed must be done with a manager. We will take appropriate action to correct the issue. Do not take it in your own hands. If it is severe, write a statement, note in the logbook, and send associate home if directed to by manager.
