Other challenges are providing well-trained, service-oriented staff to the nursing units on an as needed or emergency basis, proactively reviewing upcoming unit schedules, for the safest, most efficient and most financially responsible staffing levels possible and works with Human Resources to ensure that all nursing personnel (permanent staff and agency) have a valid Nevada nursing license.
The incumbent is challenged to meet constant deadlines and has the authority to make independent judgments for the nursing division as to changes, including canceling or scheduling work shifts. Upon request this position may be required to compose correspondence, organize statistical data and prepares for presentation as needed; organizes written materials, maintains an efficient filing and data system and provides assistance on various projects.

Minimum Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Education:
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Preference will be given to applicants who have earned a high school diploma.
Experience:
Three (3) years general clerical experience or two (2) years secretarial experience.

Professional: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
