Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Recruitment Planning and Evaluation
* Collaborate in the development of an annual strategic plan for graduate recruitment, including identification and selection of schools for recruitment, travel and events, individual and mass communication, advertising, and digital media. Clearly articulate recruitment goals and tactics.
* Generate broad buy-in for recruitment activities among academic leaders, faculty, staff, and current students. Leverage recruitment networks and foster participation in recruitment activity across key stakeholders.
* Identify desired recruitment venues for individual graduate programs and for the overall umbrella of Sam Fox School graduate programs. Plan attendance at fairs and portfolio days as well as campus visits in coordination with chairs and staff colleagues and ensure participation by appropriate faculty as needed.
* Survey current students to better understand trends, motivations, and key messages for prospective students.
* Survey candidates who decline Sam Fox graduate program acceptance to understand key factors in their decision making.
* Use quantitative measures and qualitative assessments to track and analyze success of recruitment efforts.

The Day to Day as a Talent Acquisition Specialist
Under general supervision following established policies and procedures, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying, recruiting, screening, and placing potential employees in positions companywide. Concentration placed on developing and implementing strategies to identify and screen qualified candidates to present to hiring managers, while reinforcing the credit union's culture.
A typical day will look like:
Source candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media platforms, and referrals.
Coordinate the internal job posting and referral processes, ensuring existing employees are given opportunities to apply and assuring program integrity.
Leads intake meetings with the hiring managers to understand culture, skills, and team fit desired for each opening.
Conduct initial screening and assessment of candidates to evaluate their qualifications and fit for the role when appropriate.
Schedules interviews, oversees the preparation of interview questions, and other hiring and selection materials.
Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
Prepare offer letters and provide information to candidates during the interview and selection process, including a review of benefits, job responsibilities, pay, hours, work conditions, policies, and other related information.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and recruitment activity.
Ensure recruiting and hiring practices comply with government regulations, policies, and procedures.
Implement streamlined workflows within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to enhance efficiency and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

To Be Considered, You'll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum three years' experience sourcing and recruiting talent or three years' experience in an HR Department
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and social media platforms.
Ability to travel.
Preferred Qualifications That Could Set You Ahead:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential.
Knowledge of cloud-based applicant tracking systems.

* Works under the direction of HR Manager and TA Specialist.
* Supports Talent Acquisition by assisting in reviewing applications, conducting phone screens, employee onboarding, and completing new hire paperwork etc.
Tasks
* Supports Talent Acquisition Specialist to recruit qualified applicant pool.
* Perform duties related to applicant processing and screening (initial screening, evaluation of qualifications with respect to specifications, substantive structured interviewing, employment eligibility)
* Aids team members regarding benefit and human resource questions and issues in a timely matter.
* Maintaining employee personnel files
* Maintains phone lines and telephone calls in a timely manner, direct properly and take messages.
* Greet visitors in a professional friendly manner.
* Preparing employee manuals, training manuals, and other employee related information.
* Administer appropriate standardized tests and recommend qualified candidates to respective departments for more detailed assessment.
* Coordinating new hire paperwork and new hire orientation meetings.
* Coordinating and setting-up training classes, meetings, and interviews.
* Maintaining applicant tracking database; reviewing, screening, and maintaining applications and resumes.
* Producing company monthly announcements.
* Assisting with providing compliance in all areas of human resources.
