Drive continuous improvement in the recruitment process by identifying best practices, leveraging new technologies, and maintaining candidate pipelines. Manage and mentor a growing team of recruiters, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities. Track and report key recruitment metrics to senior leadership to ensure performance and alignment with organizational goals. Manage relationships with external staffing agencies, job boards, and other recruitment partners. Maintain a deep understanding of the defense contracting industry and stay up to date on trends, challenges, and opportunities within talent acquisition. Oversee the Application Tracking Software (Greenhouse and Paylocity). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree is a plus. 6-8 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Proven experience in managing and leading a team of recruiters in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Expertise in recruiting for a variety of roles, including technical, engineering, and professional positions within the defense contracting industry. Strong understanding of federal regulations and compliance standards related to defense contracting, including security clearance processes. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies and deliver results. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and influence stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), Microsoft Office, and other recruitment tools and platforms. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with government contracting recruitment and clearance requirements. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems such as iCIMS, Workday, or similar platforms.
