Reporting: Reports to RE De Soto Ranch Manager Qualifications - Education: * High School Diploma or equivalent * BA/BS or training in Ranch Management, Agriculture, Animal Science, or related fields a plus Qualifications - Background and Experience: * Valid Driver's License required * Experience in livestock agriculture preferred * Ability to work some weekend shifts. As a commercial-scale livestock enterprise, the Ranch operates 7 days per week, year-round. While all efforts are made to minimize weekend work, the Ranch Hand will be expected to work some weekend shifts (primarily feeding working dogs and performing flock wellness checks). * Willingness to travel and stay overnight off the main ranch on an occasional basis * Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, both independently and as part of a team * Ability to lift 50lbs multiple times throughout the day * Strong communication skills, both written and oral * Solar Industry experience a plus
