Responsibilities Starting Pay: $39.75/hr. * Performs assigned inspection functions in accordance with the Company's GMM, Manufacturer's Maintenance Manual Procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations to ensure that the Company aircraft, engines, appliances, and components are maintained to the prescribed standards of airworthiness and serviceability. * Performs Material Inspections of incoming aircraft components to ensure the use of legal, conforming and applicable parts and materials.
* Conducts surveillance and sampling of work performed, maintenance practices and processes to ensure maintenance and documentation is accomplished according to the Spirit Airlines maintenance program. Assures the use of approved data, materials, tools, test equipment and that a high standard of workmanship is present.
* Conducts final review of all maintenance documents and SETS records prior to records archival for completion, correctness, use of appropriate references to approved data. Identify and log errors into the Records Error database and generate Record Error Notices for correction.
* Review aircraft logbooks for pilot and AMTs reports, deferred maintenance and accomplishment of correct airworthiness release procedures.
* Ensure Spirit processes, i.e. Calibrated Tools, Shelf-Life Items, quarantine and scrapped parts, in various locations are accomplished in accordance with company manuals.
* As designated and assigned by the Manager Quality Control, accomplish safety and housekeeping checks of hangar and/or line work areas.
* Assist the Manager Quality Control in the on-site acceptance checks of additional aircraft to be added to the company's Ops Specs.
* Provide guidance and assistance to maintenance personnel in order to train, maintain and enhance compliance to programs, policies, and procedures.
* Performs as a Designated Instructor in areas and/ or subjects as qualified and approved by the Manager, Maintenance Training and the Manager Quality Control.

Qualifications
* A&P License is required and ability to demonstrate use of A/P within 36 months

Job Description
This position encompasses two major functions and a number of other minor responsibilities associated with laboratory and quality control work. The two major responsibilities involve: (1) all aspects of controlling the quality of manufactured products and, (2) assisting laboratory chemist(s) with various assigned duties as required from time to time.
Responsibilities and Job Duties
Quality Control Duties and Functions:
Check and monitor batch tickets before they are released to the production floor to ensure that there are no errors or omissions, check for signoffs, batch numbers, dates and that all pre-adjustments are made to batch ticket prior to production. Ensure that all materials control systems and procedures are followed.
Perform all QA tests on incoming raw materials.
Perform all required QC tests on batches manufactured in the plant. If batch does not meet specifications make necessary approved adjustments to bring batch into spec. After exhausting known methods for adjusting batch call on Chemist for input.
Maintain proper QC records of all batches tested and this includes adjustments made to batches.
Monitor production process to ensure that approved procedures are being followed by compounders. Prior to compounding, check materials for batches as frequently as necessary to monitor compounder accuracy.
Maintain lab for maximum efficiency, cleanliness, safety, and neatness.
Perform long term shelf stability tests on selected batches.
Supervision of proper reworking of rejected off spec batches.
Manage proper disposal of waste material under the direction of the Plant Manager.
Prepare and distribute monthly reports indicating unusual additions, rework material and reason.
Catalogue and store retain samples for a minimum of 24 months.

The Quality Control Technician will assist the shift supervisor in the training and overview of the bottle inspectors to insure proper bottle inspection, and packing methods of the daily production produced during the shift.
Primary Responsibilities
Ensures all finished goods meet or exceeds the customer expectations in quality and shipping requirements.
Helps production supervisors direct the shift activities regarding quality and training of all employees in the areas of quality control requirements, standards and procedures, and recognition of materials, which should be scrap vs, regrind.
Follow quality control methods to ensure that all employees can identify product for rejects, rework, etc. and to ensure that all customers receive product, which meet or exceed the customers' standards.
Performs quality checks (visual or dimensional) of product to assure container's meet or exceed customer requirements.
Notifies shift supervisor when bottles do not meet customer specification, ensures that non-conforming material controls are effectively used.
Conducts first article inspection, with appropriate documentation at start-up of production lines.
During quality checks, complete shift quality inspection reports.
Helps maintain quality specifications information regarding bottle drawings, pack patterns, packaging requirements, etc.
Help monitor raw material defects; prepares defect reports and submits to management to help continuously improve quality of supplied raw materials.
Help audit warehouse operations to ensure proper stacking and packing procedures to meet customer specifications.
Help assure GMP, AIB and/or SQF regulations are followed during shift.
Experience/Education
Knowledge and/or willingness to learn the in-house inventory systems and general computer (PC) for all types of data entry, reports and internal communications.
Requires constant visual attention; ability to discern flaws in containers.
High-school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferably a background/knowledge in Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program
Physical Requirements
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
