Our global manufacturing client is a looking to add a quality inspector to their team who would be based out of their Pittsburgh, PA Headquarters. This position is responsible for inspecting customers' components prior to Abrasive Flow Machining (AFM) or Thermal Energy Method (TEM) processing to ensure they meet agreed upon incoming specifications. Post-processing inspections are also done to ensure that the parts meet the required customer outcome specifications Role & Responsibilities: Perform Component inspections Inspections will be with a profilometer, comparators and other mechanical measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Ensure that work is performed within the requirements that are set by the customer's specifications Maintain Records and Databases as required Concise and accurate recording of inspection findings Create Certificates of Conformity (COC) for customer components Record and report all deviations from requirements Ensure compliance to all quality standards (e.g. ISO/QS/AS/MIL/ANSI). GD&T Knowledge.
