The role of a Quality Assurance Associate can vary depending on either on what level they work in or which industry they work within. They are generally found all over, though, and their main responsibility is to make sure that the product's quality or the services that the organization provides meets certain standards.

An Associate such as this may be a part of developing the quality policies, product guides, and training regimes, but they are surely a part of the team which makes sure they are implemented and met. This involves frequent and detailed examinations of the product and the tools used in the process of making and delivering them or, if the product is a service, then the work of the people who deliver it is examined, as are the tools they use to do so, their skills, and the processes, originating both from the company and from the employees themselves.

A candidate for this position generally needs to have at least a high school diploma or a GED, though a university degree and a certification in quality assurance might be preferred. Previous experience is a must, as is proficiency in certain tools.
