The Photographer plays an essential role in communicating the excitement of the radio control hobby through images that reach a worldwide audience of RC enthusiasts. In the studio and on location, you'll use your skills to capture the realism and performance of detailed scale vehicles, aircraft, boats, and trains, plus a wide variety of other products and accessories. You'll also travel to events across the country to document the thrills of competition and the camaraderie of the RC lifestyle.
The successful candidate must be a self-motivated, creative thinker who is able to demonstrate excellent time management and problem-solving skills. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Typical pay for this position is $40,000-50,000/year. The final offer for this position will be based on the unique experience and qualifications of the candidate selected. This position may also be eligible for a bonus not included in the base pay range.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Ensure that imagery output exceeds industry standards and expectations.
* Schedule and coordinate product lifestyle photo shoots with models, RC drivers, and RC pilots.
* Take responsibility for all aspects of the technical, aesthetic, and production requirements of a photoshoot.
* Meet deadlines and manage tasks with minimal oversight.
* Scout possible photo shoot locations.
* Be flexible enough to shift priorities quickly when needed.
* Collaborate with product development, brand management, and graphic designers.
* Oversee brand standards, lighting technique, and image quality.
* Organize and tag images in Digital Asset Management System.
* Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs to photo equipment.
Education and/or Experience
* 3-5 years' experience in studio/photo industry.
* Product photography experience is a plus.
* Proficiency using DSLR or professional style mirrorless cameras.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite required, including Photoshop and Lightroom.
* Knowledge of natural lighting, indoor and studio lighting techniques.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Demands
* Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds independently.
* Must be able to move and hold camera equipment for long periods.
* Some travel, overnight and weekends will be required.

Asset Approval - Manage approval process for captured assets, including standardizing approval processes.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Photographer must have proven ability to shoot and edit video and stills in the field, newsroom, and studio. Candidate will gather information and interviews in the field and shoots remotes as assigned. Candidate will operate audio, video, and transmission equipment for live and taped broadcast and digital content. This position is also responsible for editing news stories on deadline in the field and in the newsroom. The ability to write and produce video for broadcast and digital is a plus. Position must contribute to station social media channels with information, stills and video.
A Bachelor's degree from a four (4) year college or university is preferred. Three (3) years of experience as a photojournalist or equivalent in the news department of a commercial television station required. Must have a valid driver's license and exemplary driving record. Candidate must have strong communication skills, work on tight deadlines and have the ability to deal effectively/professionally with the public, public officials and staff. Ideal candidate must have strong story telling abilities, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude. Surya is seeking a creative and motivated Junior Photographer to join our in-house photography team. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the full photo shoot process: Set up and break down of lighting, staging, and camera preparation for a variety of shoots.
Capture compelling imagery: Photograph products in different formats, including white background shots, lifestyle setups, and styled scenes.
Collaborate creatively: Work alongside Senior Photographers and stylists to bring creative concepts to life, ensuring visual consistency and quality across all images.
Edit and retouch images: Post-process and retouch images under the guidance of the Senior Photographer, ensuring they meet the highest standards for quality and style.
Maintain studio organization: Help manage photography equipment, props, and set pieces to ensure an efficient, organized workspace.
Participate in creative brainstorming: Share ideas during brainstorming sessions to help shape the direction of upcoming shoots and creative campaigns.
Ensure brand consistency: Uphold Surya's visual standards across all photography work, contributing to the consistent portrayal of the brand across all marketing platforms.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in photography, Visual Arts, or related field is preferred, but not required. Equivalent experience is valued.
Proficiency with DSLR cameras, studio lighting equipment, and basic editing tools.
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, and other relevant editing software.
Strong attention to detail, with a keen eye for lighting, composition, and product styling.
Ability to take direction well and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, creative work environment.
A portfolio showcasing previous work is required. Experience in product, commercial, or lifestyle photography is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox News is looking for a Freelance Field Photographer to cover breaking news and planned events in the US and abroad. You will work with a dedicated team comprising other field photographers, technical crews, satellite truck operators, engineers, field producers, and reporters.
The Freelance Field Photographer must be comfortable covering breaking news as a one-person team and handling the complexities of covering protests, uprisings, political gatherings, and conflicts in hostile regions using traditional ENG cameras. The candidate must also be proficient in large-scale productions involving multi-camera setups with full-sensor cinematic cameras and lighting techniques associated with high-end productions.
You must be willing to engage in extensive and substantial travel and be prepared to deploy on short notice in support of a 24-hour news cycle.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* In-depth Knowledge of Panasonic & Sony ENG cameras and file workflow operations
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Perform satellite, microwave, fiber, and truck transmissions/operations

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
* 5+ years of professional experience in the field
* Strong lighting skills and experience with long-format shoots
* The flexibility and speed to work in a high-stress, breaking news environment
* Versatile and prepared to work in the bureau one day, shoot and edit the next, and operate an easy-to-use auto-acquisition satellite truck the 3rd day
* Extensive travel and the ability to deploy at a moment's notice to support the demands of a 24-hour news operation
* Working knowledge of field audio mixers
* Ability to mix and route audio for multiple camera shoots
* Proficient in mixing Live remotes with IFB communications
* Experience with video photography and non-linear video editing
* Experience with lighting techniques
* Familiar with streaming technologies, satellite news-gathering vehicles
* Willingness to be trained on a transmitting satellite camera crew vehicle
* Valid Driver's License and Passport
* A clean driving record
* To own a camera package (specifics will be provided during the interview) for rent
* Flexible work schedule to adapt to a 24-hour news organization, including overtime and weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You'll flex your storytelling muscles with longform pieces that you are passionate about. QUALIFICATIONS:
* Vocational/Technical School Associate Degree strongly preferred
* At least two years of Television News shooting experience, as well as technical knowledge of non-linear editing software, preferably Edius, and photo equipment
* Must be physically able to lift, carry and handle 30 to 50 pounds of camera gear, and deal with the realities of a Wisconsin winter or summer
* Position requires driving
* Drone license preferred
