Phase 2: Your transition to Associate Partner
After meeting specific requirements during the first 12 months as a financial professional, you will enter a specialized six-month Associate Partner training program.1

How we will compensate you
When you begin with New York Life as a financial professional2, your income will be commission-based. For more information about commission-based income and benefits for financial professionals, please follow this link: ******************************************************************************* If you meet the requirements and approvals to become an Associate Partner, you will receive a salary. The salary range for an Associate Partner is $60,000-$150,000 (in California and Washington, the minimum salary is $66,560 and $67,725, respectively), plus you will be eligible for certain bonuses and other incentives based on the performance of agents in your unit, including additional compensation related to the agents you recruit and develop (“R&Ds”). R&Ds are additional compensation that is designed to increase your income and to reimburse for any reasonable and necessary expenses we do not otherwise reimburse. You will also be eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits, life, long-term disability, and accidental death and dismemberment coverages, a pension plan,3 and a 401(k) savings plan.4 New York Life will value and reward your hard work and success. You'll have significant income potential over time, because our field managers' compensation is directly aligned with their recruiting performance and the production level of their team of financial professionals. The average income among our 568 recruiters at all levels in 2023 was $280,000.5

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Manages design projects with general supervision. Serves as a contract manager for design projects assigned to consultant firms. Coordinates with discipline project managers for the preparation of project-specific scope of services, staff hour estimates, consultant staff hour negotiations, contract execution and maintenance. client is seeking a Project Manager with the following minimum qualifications (must be clearly stated on the resume and verifiable via reference checks):
Successfully pass a Level 2 criminal background investigation, including fingerprinting, and statewide and national criminal history records checks
Current certification as a Project Management Professional (“PMP”)
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of demonstrated Project Management / Program Management (i.e., multiple interrelated and coordinated projects) experience with large-scale technology projects having the following characteristics:
Very large and high-profile
Multiple technologies and functions
Staff resources across multiple initiatives/projects
Multi-million dollar budget
Close coordination / interaction with other project managers
Collaboration with multiple stakeholder groups with diverse and competing needs and expectations
Experience managing technology projects in a mixed technical environment including distributed client server applications, web architectures, enterprise content management, interactive voice response systems, and online payments.
Thorough working knowledge of software development methodologies
Thorough working knowledge of release management and change management principles
Thorough working knowledge of integrating Microsoft Project with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2008/2010
Highly skilled with Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Project 2010, Visio 2010, and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Nice to Haves:
Technical knowledge of web development with C#.NET, web services, MVC/MVP architecture, and relational databases preferred
Technical knowledge of network infrastructure, network communication, and security preferred
Certification as a Certified Business Analysis Professional (“CBAP”) is a plus
